Both 'Antlers' and 'The Idiot' are cut from a different cloth from your standard 4/4 time, 12-bar rock. Instead the guitar lines bleed off in countless directions like dabs of watercolour paint, while the rhythm slinks through unfathomable shifts and progressions.'
- The Scotsman
'acute melodic sensibility and complex blend of airy jazziness with truckloads of intricate guitar-work'
- The List
'maturity and variation on the oft repeated math rock forumala give them an almost unique sound'
- Seperated by Moterways
'Clever Intricate, spindly guitars underscore yearning vocals'
- The Scotsman
'they channel the spirit of the Mars Volta away from the excesses of jazz obscurantism and towards the relative safety of post-rock. Some impressive fret-board virtuosity'
- The skinny
'Scotland's most accomplished math rock act'
- Under the Radar
They meld elements of Minus the Bear, American football and Maps and Atlases. Think of delicately constructed tapping melodies, hints of jazz and experimental vocals forming into a melting pot of ambiently inspired math-rock.'

"Trapped In Kansas" started June 2008 it includes 4 studenty type chaps that all live either together or a few minutes away from each other in the fine coastal town of ayr. We ocassionaly escape to do the odd gig.
Thanks for listening....x
We're rehearsing wi a guy fae Edinburgh the morn. He reckons he knows most of the set list anyway. You will be able to pay on the door for the sham gig. I'll try and get you on the guest list. Funnily enough i've just bought myself a new wooly hat but i could do wi a pair o tartan slippers.
There I was indeed. Combination of a few things but mostly TDV pulling out of Stirling then reminsicing all the good TIK times I've had pulled me your way. Glasgow ended up being my third city of that day as I'd been in Dundee for FR the night before and Stirling for the TDV radio sesh. Bloody good 24 hours if you ask me.
That article got me way too excited at the prospect. It'd be the best gig ever for me. All my three fave bands in one night!

Super set last night boys. I liked the inclusion of The Clown. I may be in the minority but I do love your older stuff. You should try and sneak some in now and then, just like as a surprise and keep things fresh (well y'know for people like me who are at almost every gig. :P ).
Hopefully catch some of you at the PodcART Xmas Party and then I plan to see you lots in the new year.
