    Vicious is the musical project of Austin, Tx’s dj/ promoter Joshua Distance and dj/ sound designer Ryan Parker. .... The duo formed in Spring of 2009 after meeting at a party and expressing mutual interest in developing a live electronic dance act to represent the nightlife scene in Austin. After remixing Glasnost and Trash Yourself! (released on Loliland Records), they decided it was time to take it beyond the studio, and create something that showed their talents as not only as producers, but also as live musicians. This led to the formation of a hybrid DJ/Live PA setup that utilizes traditional DJing alongside synths, drum machines and a plethora of outboard effects. Vicious uses this to create a furious mix of electro, tech, dub-step, breaks, and rock, that is far from your average DJ set. .... They have DJed along sides such electro/dance acts as Drop the Lime, the Mad Classy crew, Thunderheist, L.A.X., Vega, Guns n Bombs, and Delin & Darko. Vicious are currently working on several new remixes and a soon to be released e.p. ....
