We do have a retired or sicklist of kit too which we would love someone to come and repair for us, which includes a Crumar Performer, Hammond DPM-48 Drum Machine, JEN Piano 73, Roland SH-1000 and a couple of Casio SK-1's!!
Though to be truthful, the rest could probably do with a service of some sort!!

WeirdGear are based in Essex and play music using only analogue synthesisers and drum machines. This is done completely live without the use of clever or complicated things like MIDI, sequencers, backing tracks or computers. We are influenced by the eclectic things in life and all have extensive music collections which impact upon our quest to create new songs and to evolve old ones. We are also keenly impacted by our analogue weapons of choice, which adds a richness to our organic soundscapes. We also call upon each band members individuality to give WeirdGear its' character.WeirdGear have played to many and varied audiences over the last couple of years and thrive on being a real live band experience. The equipment creates visual interest on stage and we always share our enjoyment and interact with audiences during shows. We have had a number of superb photographers take images of our shows, please look through our pictures if you have the time. We are always on the lookout for gigs and also look for collaborative partnerships with like-minded proactive people.
Achtung Weirdgear- fancy hearing a long lost 80s new wave and electro film soundtrack? It's all here and features tunes and obscurities from Fad Gadget, Eno, Human League, Talking Heads and more click here 'Fur Den Untergang' but keep it hush hush
I totally agree with your idea of using vintage synths for composition ... and its good to see people play live with these electronics too, great site ... best wishes, George
i watched your videos and listened to your traxx and i really appreciate and enjoy what you do. i really believe in live synths as well. think i'm going to put you on my top friends as an example! osaka knights probably my favourite one at the moment.
i hope you like my songs too, i use a computer to record my songs but i play everything live in realtime. :)
Moose Factory would like to support you and help promote your upcoming gigs. We can do this by reviewing a track/album and uploading an example on our site and possibly reviewing a live show (if we're invited;)). If you'd like this to happen, please send us something to moosefactoryuk@googlemail.com or 223 Ramsay Road, London, E7 9ES. Cheers.
