About me: A renaissance man? A visionary in the classical warrior poet sense? A hard working son of a bitch? A true friend? A really nice guy? All these terms have been used to describe me. I’m just a simple person on the road to enlightenment and self-perfection. I grew up believing in and trying to exercise the beliefs of chivalry and budo and spent my teen years pursuing literature, music, bodybuilding and mixed-martial arts (before the term was ever created).
The life I’ve led has not always been easy but often times it has been a lot of fun. Life is a learning process. I’ve stumbled a time or two on my journey through life, and even once or twice almost went down for the count, but I still keep moving forward. I guess I’m just too dumb to know when to give up.
I’ve been credited with having a great deal of patience, a lot of perseverance and to some extent; I have a lot more self-discipline than many people (although there are a lot of people who put me to shame). I try to inspire those around me to be their best and prefer people with a can-do attitude.
I believe strongly in karma and try to treat others as I would expect to be treated.
I’m embarking on a new phase in my life and have discovered a new set of goals to pursue. I’m also setting out to achieve the five total areas of success, which incorporates health, fitness, nutrition, relationships and finances. All in all, 2007 could be shaping up to be my best year ever.
