Established in 2008, Weatherlight is an emerging original band in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. As a new band they are catching many off guard, bringing a blend of original rock, folk-rock, and blues songs that continue to grab people's attention. Each member of the band brings their own style and sound into the band creating a truly unique, original sound. Weatherlight consists of Matt Brown on the microphone and rhythm guitar, hammering out his own brand of catchy, rhythm delight, Matt Plein on the lead guitar, shredding like a mad man crating killer leads, Mike Thole on the bass guitar, playing smooth-tastic, flowing bass lines, and James Puzic on the drums, hammering out unique and interesting drum lines.
Weatherlight’s music creates a high that even your average drug-free Joe will want a hit of. They bring meaningful lyrics, catchy chorus lines, and great hooks to the Twin Cities music scene.
