A fusion of funk, reggae, rock, with an acoustic guitar and an alto sax thrown into the mix. We are trying to create our own blend of the styles of music that we all love and live our lives to everyday. We love to make music that moves people physically and mentally. We are trying to consistently write new material but for now we mostly play the music that we all truly love and that has influenced our playing and the way we live our lives....
The WB formed in the fall of 2005 in the student ghetto in Kalamazoo, MI. Our sound is a blend of reggae, rock, funk and hip-hop all stirred up into one big melting pot. The WB plays shows allover the state, gigs range from cover gigs to original gigs. We play some hot covers mixed in to over 11 originals. We bring the energy each and every show, we love to rock out jump around and get the audience of their asses.
We are in the process of recording our first album right now and booking better shows everyday. Currently we play Bell's, Kraftbrau, KZOO festivals, Grand Rapids, The Bob, Detroit, Traverse City and Chicago.
We are always looking for new venues and new fans! The WB loves music and will continue to progress, play big shows and create new original music.
