  • Bio

Larry Weber plays progressive neo-folk-jazz-rock and a few other chromaticisms on guitar. The musician from Purisima Creek started playing guitar at age three and was raised in Los Altos Hills on the San Francisco penninsula; Melbourne, Australia; Bouganville Island, Papua-New Guinea; and Bogota, Colombia. He started studying with a jazz guitarist at around age eight. He has always loved the freedom of jazz and performed his first gig at age nine. At a very early age, he performed originals, covers and songbook in a string of rock, folk, blues, western, R & B, latin, big-band, new-age, jazz, soul, funk, and fusion bands of many types between San Francisco and Santa Cruz - later extended to the Northcoast for some years, and then moved to Los Angeles near the Santa Monica Bay with lots of evolving styles and artists along the way. He makes albums of original music in Los Angeles. He has also recorded for television, movies, NPR Radio, art house film and video, dance films, recording artists, and events featuring poets and performance/conceptual artists, as well as worked in the biology of aging, longevity, aging retardation, and life extension research at UCLA, and Biosphere 2 near Oracle, Arizona. He has performed in the US, Europe, Japan, and Australia. ****** "...to evolve and grow is the point of any adventure including music...press record ! ...the tracks here are in bits, bats, and bursts...sonification for cells and souls..." .............. ................ ......http://soundcloud.com..Larry Weber.... ........ .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ....Latest tracks by Larry Weber.... ..ALL OF LARRY WEBER'S FRIENDS.. ..
