William Gilmore Weber. "weberphonics" - a term made up by a former band mate to describe the reason for his hearing loss. Yeah, yeah... Frippertronics...Weberphonics, nice twist, think? In the past I've slung axe for many a disgusting band (Chrome Cranks, GG Allin & the Murder Junkies, the Candy Snatchers, etc...). Currently I'm doing a lot of various solo junk. Laptronics, chance happenings, loops, burps, buzzes and any other squeaks I can get out of a laptop/instrument without blowing it up. I'm utilizing not only guitars (fretless, synth, digital, etc...), but also keys, basses, drumpads, gamepads and anything else I can use as an input device... to draw out a "symphony of skronks & squelches". I, look down my nose at you all...and call it... ART!!! Periodically, I will be posting more of these as they make their way out of my psyche.
