right now I am only interested in recovering from my surgery. Then when I'm recovered I want to take long walks, ride my bike, go for a drive to see all the autumn leaves, take a vacation to Florida this winter and get out of DEBT!!
Music
I have a diverse love of music - appreciating many genres from classic rock to metal and many stops in between. Some of my favorites are Megadeth (love Dave Mustaine); OZZY; the Beatles; Moody Blues; Tom Petty; RUSH; and lots more!!
Went to some great concerts this past summer and some not so great - Bob Dylan so-so, Rod Stewart FANTASTIC, Tom Petty GREAT, Alice Cooper THE BEST. Here's some clips from Tom Petty!

Movies
Love movies - we go all the time there's too many that I like to even list them here.
Television
Unfortunately, I am watching more tv now that I'm recovering than ever - so that means more football (Yeah!) more political crap - presidential campaign debate, commentary, news. Dog shows - love the Dog Whisperer, It's Me or the Dog, and Dogtown. Also, my Thursday night lineup - Earl, Office, 30 Rock and ER. Heroes on Monday night and that's about it.............that's ENOUGH!!
Well, not quite - I forgot about DEAL or NO DEAL ! Love Howie!!
Books
Authors: Jennifer Crusie, Sophie Kinsella, Jennifer Weiner, and other chick books. Been going to Half Priced Books to buy most of the books we have. I'm also starting a new cookbook collection - so far, I only have about a dozen or so but I'm adding on a little at a time.
Heroes
Believe it or not ... My MOM! She would be so proud if she were alive. I just wish that she could really know how things turned out, how I got divorced so long ago and how I finished college to have a technology career.
Then my kids because they helped me realize my dreams! Life is good!
I'd like to meet Sarah Palin and John McCain! I'd also like to meet Dave Mustaine, Rod Stewart, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and Tom Petty. Plus I would LOVE to get to talk to an old friend from Cincinnati, Mark Alton Brown, who lives in LA now. He's a writer/producer and we've lost contact. It would be wonderful to talk to him.
