MySpace a place for friends

By day I am a web developer and all-around 'puter weenie. My platform of choice is LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP/Perl), though I can get along just fine in a Windoze environment.

I prefer freelancing because:

• it allows me to work with many different clients
• it forces me to work with many different languages, standards, techiniques and applications
• it allows me the flexibility to work when I'm feeling the most creative
• it compels me to approach solutions to problems from different perspectives
• it allows me to work in my underwear if I so choose
• my office can be as messy or as clean as my frame of mind at the moment
• I do not have to go out and play dodge 'em cars during rush hour
• my lint collection is close by at all times.

I play guitar and sing a little, and have been known to torment audiences all over the place with my burnt offerings when the mood strikes me. I usually play by myself, but can be found playing with friends in obscure, strangely named little ensembles.
