Undergoing treatment for lung cancer right now. Had chemo Dec-March, now on another medication (Tarceva). Trying to keep working at my job, and get stronger. I have to rest a lot, and don't have a lot of stamina, but getting stronger.
I love eating ethnic foods.. Japanese, Thai, Indian, Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese, Ethiopian, etc! <3 MM MM GOOD!
I will go back to Japan in 2009.. 11 years since my last visit. Sometimes I have dreams about going on shopping sprees in a Japanese 7-11 or department store. *cry cry*
What do I love?
i love drawing, painting and sculpting. Animals of all kinds. I even love snails, caterpillars, and insects. microcosms. I have a big yard wt many plants. I NEED TO PAINT!
I have a great cat named Benjamin who is 6, and a cat named Toby who is 1. I wish I could build a big tree house and live in the woods... or move to the beach.
I love people... even if I don't understand them. Sometimes I tend to be a recluse and stuck in my ways. my mouth gets me in trouble because things spill out - and it can sound crude or mean..
biking! - started road biking for real spring 2006. I usually go on Saturday biking events with my good friend ALBERT. I haven't biked in 2008 though because of being sick, but will try again soon.
Exploring abandoned buildings and warehouses to take photographs makes me giddy. i haven't done it in a while because of fear of getting caught.

I live in a house that i bought in 2005. Trying to keep my act together. There are some home improvements i need to do, but always seems like i'm scraping by $ and don't have time. at least it's a good investment! I'd love to someday have someone handy to share the bills so i could do improvements on the house, and travel!
Time is going by too fast. I really need to push other stuff aside and get back to painting/drawing. I have to make a painting and get a photo printed/mounted - to enter an alumni show by ..h. hope it goes well.
spiritualism? I love all kinds of ethnic foods. My favorite dish in the world is tom yum soup. I want to travel more soooooo badly, but can't afford it now. I watch bad tv and educational tv.
I do not practice organized religion but I feel a connection with nature and feel things deeply. I like learning about different cultures, religions, and human behavior. I want to know why do people do the things that they do. The diversity on the planet is amazing, and it's fascinating to see how certain cultures evolved into unique functioning societies. I feel deeply and spiritually about these things, but I am an observer - not a joiner.
I love learning about science, biology and surgical methods. Nothing much grosses me out, even while eating. Sometimes people are shocked by what comes out of my mouth. My frank honesty used to get me into trouble with people, but I'm trying harder to be more sensitive to people's opinions. I've always been really empathetic to people and even getting strong feelings in different environments. I can get intense feelings from other peoples' energies, but usually as the older I get - I turn it off and have a bubble around me. I'm trying to not live so much in a bubble.
