While trying to invent a better guitar pick, Wedgie founder and chief, Brian Judd started looking at conventional flat guitar picks and how he could improve upon their design. While sculpturing a pick out of silly putty, he found that the finger and thumb needed a contour to better hold the pick and reduce fatigue from gripping the pick too hard. On smaller thickness flat guitar picks, the picks will mold a contour from normal use. This idea grew into three patented lines of guitar picks.
Brian did not stop with picks. He also invented a new line of patent pending drum sticks, incorporating a vibration control system that allows the stick to reduce vibration while adding more power and the ability to play longer and harder without the fatigue that can occur with a conventional drum stick.
