" 'Continuity' may well turn out to be a career-defining record for Wedlock, and not just because of Indie Of The Year 2009. This work seems more flowing, smoother and more swaying than their others - probably due to their being able to actually sit down and write. Electropop is still on it's way up, and they have managed to get a fresh sound out of the movement, akin to a lighter Depeche Mode.If such a thing as avant garde were ever possible in electro, they just might have done it. Rating:4/5"Emmy-Music Emissions,9/19
"Wedlock may not be known too terribly well outside of their home city of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, but their single “Reverend Charisma” may be the one track that breaks them big. The electropop movement is still on its way up, and the Depeche Mode meets drum n bass sound of Wedlock here has a very retro feel to it, tying together electropop with the “New Romantic” generation perfectly."NeuFutur Magazine,1/09
" Even after listening to Exogamy a couple of times I don't really know what to think of this foursome from North Carolina. It's a strange mix and while the better part of me didn't want to like this electro-pop, the other side of me was found tapping my foot to their beats and somewhat enjoying what I was listening too. Paul Allgood's vocals is the reason that I found myself drawn back to Wedlock."Dennis Scanland-Music Emissions, 12/08
"Smooth and sleazy, like Justice stealing Jamiroquai's slurred disco
come-ons, Carrboro's trio of electronica-rockers lay down syrupy soul over
trippy house beats. Results: glittery, sexy charm."KJ-Independent Weekly, 10/07
