English: Wednesday Lips was born as a result of one of those life’s coincidences that end up being the beginning of something. Albert (guitars) and Mònica (voice) met playing in a rehearsal place one September afternoon on 2007; a friend in common, had encouraged them to meet and make some music together. Weeks passed and they began to send each other melodies and lyrics, often by email but also sharing mornings and evenings in which songs started taking shape. Gradually they were conscious of the project they had in mind and the need of new incorporations; this is how Pol (drums) and Tebi (bass) joined the band around October 2008. Together they have been preparing their first work that will be out this February. Its name will be "Season I: Songs to spend a Sunday morning walking in the forest" and it has been recorded between Masnou and Mollerussa, by Jordi and Gerard; designs by Ariadna Guiteras and pictures by Ana Bresolí. At present, the band is preparing their live repertoire to start with the concerts and show their personal view of pop to those who would like to listen to it. -
