Thank you all for possibly the best Wednesday sessions yet!! The turn out was tremendous and the acts were superb. It was all I could do to fit everyone in. Apologies to those of you I could not feature on the website this week but with so many musicians it was difficult and I decided to play pin the tail on the donkey instead so it was basically pot luck this week. Anyway, next week is already filling up so if you would like to play please let me know ASAP. Till then bye for now and have a great weekend.

Last night was a very busy Wednesday Sessions indeed! Special thanks to Sebastian, Ez, Saul , Nathalie, Bruno, Nina, Stuart, Tony, Leon, Alan, Graham, Conrad, Godfrey, Johnny and Ric for their awe inspiring performances!! It was a truly great evening of entertainment. Thanks also to the multitude of you who turned out to check out the acts. The show is developing a real feeling of momentum now and it’s very much thanks to your continued support. Live music is definitely having a renaissance at the moment and the more popular it becomes the more I am amazed by the incredible wealth of talent in this city. The really great thing about these events is that you are guaranteed never to have the same show twice so if your wondering what to do with yourself any Wednesday evening, you know there will always be something interesting exciting and new happening at the Wednesday Sessions, @ the Flask, 14 Flask Walk, Hampstead. Please tell all your friends (especially musicians!!) about us and help me make the Wednesday Sessions a permanent fixture on the Hampstead calendar.

Well what can I say…. Thank you all Soooooooooooooo Much!! For a great and exciting Wednesday Sessions yesterday. You’re continued and obviously increasing support is greatly appreciated. A Special thanks goes out to Conrad, Godfrey, Lee, Nick, James, Graham, Simon, Mary Jane, Mick, Phill, Varna, Leon, Alan and Craig for their wonderful performances!!! (oh and Caorlina for her Amy Winehouse impressions ;o) Please, please, please come back regularly. You are the life blood of the evening.
I must also apologise to those of you who’s recordings didn’t make the site this week. I can only accommodate 6acts per week and they are chosen by me for both recording and performance quality.
Full recordings of your complete set are available on CD on request. Simply reply to this email requesting a CD and I will bring it to the Wednesday Sessions the following week for collection.

Last night saw the third of the Wednesday Sessions and what a great sessions it was! The standard was excellent and the music sublime. A huge thanks Blue, Ally, Clem, Robert, Moykano, Godfrey, and Ric for they’re brilliant performances and a big thanks to all of you who just came down to listen. I think you will all agree that the vibe was very relaxed and friendly and, as I hoped would be the case, the night is shaping up to become a highlight on the Hampstead calendar.
As always I ask you all to please, please, PLEASE tell all your fiends especially musicians about our weekly open mic night. As has happened in Barnet the more we talk about these nights the bigger and better they become. Thank you all very much for your continuing support and I look forward to meeting you all again soon.

It’s first come first on (but don’t be late as the list will start to fill up soon). Building on the huge success of the Sunday Sessions Open Mic Night in Barnet, The Flask are proud to announce the launch of the Wednesday Sessions Open Mic Night, giving the wealth of musical tallent in the Hampstead area an unrivalled quality showcase for their talents.
All Sessions will be recorded to a very high standard and the best performances will be published for one week on this website.
Hello Folks.
What an amazing night we had yesterday! The quality of the performances was nothing short of breathtaking. It has brought home to me the need for longer, Feature Slots for the very best artists, which I plan to have up and running within the next month or so. This will give one or two acts per night a longer thirty minute slot to really showcase their talent. I also plan to link this night to a regular radio broadcast and to secure record company A and R department scrutiny. Will keep you posted.
CD's are also available of your set for £10per artist. If you would like a copy of any of your recent performances please reply to this email stating the date and time of your performance.

Hi Folks
Thank you all so much for what was quite possibly the best Wednesday Sessions yet!!!! Wow! I was knackered at the end of it but what a show. This night is really taking off now and its thanks to you guys. I am really enjoying doing these nights because we regularly get the most amazing up and coming performers and artists and long may it continue. As I had hoped, a lot of people are now coming just to listen to the music and that was really my not so secret plan all along, Last nights atmosphere was electric and I think everyone would agree that a great time was had by all. So thank you each and everyone for your on going support and I hope to see you all again really soon.
A note to musicians: It is becoming quite a challenge to manage this evening as we are almost always fully booked now. Will you please let me know ASAP if you want to play as I will have to book you in and next weeks list is almost full. If you want to come along and take your chances I may be able to fit you in for one or two songs but I can’t guarantee it. So to avoid disappointment please make sure that you always book a slot by email in advance.

Thank you to everyone who played and a special thank you to everyone who waited patiently for there slots as we were a little oversubscribed. Can I please urge anyone who wishes to play to make sure you have booked by email in advance as I may be able to fit you in for a song or two if you just pop in but I can no longer guarantee this due to increasing demand.
The next three weeks lists are filling up fast, so if you want to play please book ASAP to avoid disappointment.
