Elks Aidmore Children's Center is a private, non-profit residential facility for adolescent females and their families in times of crisis. Aidmore offers services to residents, their guardians, and their families on a 24/7 basis throughout the year.
A new year brings innovative opportunities and new challenges. At a time when many need it most, state and federal funding for programs like Elks Aidmore are diminishing and needed services are disappearing. For the price of two mocha lattes...or two hamburger happy meals...or a single admission to a movie, you can help make the difference in the life of a child.
Elks Aidmore is initiating a new program..."Eight for Aidmore". With a recurring monthly $8 charge to your credit card, or a monthly $8 draft from your checking account, you can be an Angel for Aidmore and help us continue serving children and their families, as we have done for over 70 years. One-half of your donation will fund current operating costs and allow for program expansion into new areas of service; the other half will be set aside for capital expenses related to the maintenance and development of the Aidmore campus.

what i mean is that someone whose life is not traumatized and brutalized as a regular sequence of every day events unconsciously seeks the camouflage and shelter of apathy and banality from the reality of such devastating anguish and terror ...but the spirit of young people who are used as sex slaves in the systematized global industry of human trafficking is now reaching out to the human fellowship in hope and desperation and through technology ...
it is scary when humanity turns a blind eye to this horror ...its like ignoring genocide whilst it is happening ...
what i am asking is that if you hear the cry of these young people who are existing in an environment of torture and brutality each and every day that you then please do not turn away from them ...
please reach deeply into your heart and soul and join a movement that challenges modern slavery in the 21st century ...

I just got back from a week long stay by the seashore where my creativity has be rejuvenated.
