BoomBoom's Interests
General
Everything music. I love live music and discovering new artists. I'm way into movies and documentaries. I love to travel and have trips planned to New York and Vegas for later this year. Like I've said before, I love me some celebrity gossip. Perezhilton.com, dlisted.com, TMZ.com are the best! Fantasy sports are the new kings in my life. Nascar and Football...so much fun! Playing poker and doing a bit of drinking are also high on my list. I've also discovered that working in the yard in theraputic, but when that doesn't work....find me at the spa!
What can I say here? Music is my life. It's the industry I've worked in for a decade almost. I love all types of music. As of late, I'm into the singer-songwriters of the world. Joshua Radin, Schuyler Fisk, Ryan Adams, Imogean Heap...basically sad bastard music. But I'm also diggin on some new things like James Blunt's new song 1973, T-Pain, Justin etc...I'm also a fan of musicals..yeah yeah yeah I know so don't bother. Here are some clips to enjoy. Gove it a chance, theater is often better than a movie or a Pacers game...but then again, anything is better than a Pacer game right now!
Wicked is in Chicago and a MUST!
Spamalot- Hysterical show
Avenue Q
..
Mamma Mia
Spring Awakening- Best show in a long time!
Jersey Boys- Also in Chicago right now
Movies
I'm a big fan of movies. I go to see one at least once a week and my Blockbuster online account is my friend. I have so many favorites but offhand a few are Clue, Stealing Home, American History X, Dazed and Confused, Quick Change, Family Stone, Bourne Films, Harold and Kumar, Elizabethtown, American Beauty and so many many more. I'll watch anything!
Television
Six Feet Under,Dexter,Weeds,Entourage, Kathy Griffin My Life on the D List, Top Chef, Ace of Cakes, Project Runway, Travel Channel shows, Planet Earth, My Super Sweet 16, Real World/Road Rules Challenge, Dawsons Creek is still a fovorite as is The Office, Greys, LOST, and the runruns on TBS/Nick!
Books
Suggestion one for me. I am reading a couple right now, but having trouble deciding which to commit to and finish.
My parents who I owe everything to! Without their support I would be nothing. Also, anyone who can make things work out and be strong during the hardest of times. I also consider a hero of mine to be myself and everyone I've met. I've come a long way and thank those who have been on the journey with me. You have no idea how much you have helped me, even if you've hurt me.

About me: So who is reading this? Over 7500 of you have, but for those who haven't, welcome! I'm Chris, or Boom Boom as most people call me. I am a 28 year old living in Carmel, Indiana and who hates to admit that he can't go more than an hour without checking perezhilton.com. It's true, I love celebrity gossip. I'm also a student at IUPUI who is finishing up his degree after life took some unexpected, yet exciting, turns. I'm very proud that I am a Dean's List student now! Who'd of guessed? Not me. I work for WZPL 99.5 in Indy on the air weekends. I go by Weekend Chris cause that's what Smiley named me when he got me confused with SuperProducer Chris (Weedman). I also fill in on Fridays almost weekly for Dave Decker or Kelly McKay. Seems like they are always taking off on days with lots of sunshine. Oh well, it keeps me in good standing with the bosses. What else? I have two sisters who are both married with 7 kids between them (Christmas gets expensive). I have a house, a car and a cat. The cat's negotiable though if you are interested! Enjoy the page, look at the concert schedule for shows and events coming to town. My blog is usually fun and filled with music and movie reviews, but you'll get a serious one once in a while. Enjoy!
Who I'd like to meet: I've been really lucky to have met many celebrities but some have escaped me. Madonna, Mariah, Oprah (but I've been to the show), Hef, Tom Cruise to see just how crazy he is, Michael Moore, Rudy Guliani, Larry King (even though I had dinner next to him and didn't say anything when I have a million questions to ask him). I'd also like to meet normal down to earth people to spend some quality time with. Not too much quality time though because I've already met the person I want to spend the most quality time with.
the world's largest truck stop rocks! lol ...i am so trailer trash! i purchased a CB radio from that place on sunday. i would have gone to DQ but the line was too long!
<---This person loves you <---This person would never hurt you <---This person is a true friend <---This person has ur back <---this person is alwayz their 4 u
I want you to know that you are amazing, and I love you to death. If I don't get this back, I understand.
But I have a game for you. Once you read this letter, you must send it to 15 people that you really care about, including the person that sent it to you, if you wish.
If you receive at least 7 back, then you are loved!
Hey bro, THANK YOU for the birthday wishes. I hope everything is going good for you. We should get together sometime, and deal out those cards... I know you're a busy guy, but find some time!!!
Hope the Counting Crows are better than last summer- Hammer gave me tickets and they talked almost the whole concert and SWEAR! direct quote: "we already played all the songs that everyone knows last night and so tonight we're playing songs that (*insert unknown artist) wrote instead" ..yeah..not AS fun as I'd hoped.
