| About Weekends and Wednesdays |
Starting out with humble beginnings is nothing new to the members of Weekends & Wednesdays and bringing past musical projects to the forefront of the Houston music scene isn't either. What began as an idea, or at very least an outlet for vocalist and songwriter Jay Humphrey back in 2004 has finally come full circle. With the addition of drummer/vocalist Veronica Butler, and guitarists/vocalists Tabitha Monet and BJ Mizell, the story of love filled tragedies behind Weekends & Wednesdays are ready to be told. With strong melodic vocals, angelic harmonies, and powerful lyrics to match a style of music that can only be described as blues infused folk with a kick, Weekends & Wednesdays is definitely another up and coming band that will ultimately be another shining star in the history of not only Houston music, but also the world.
Weekends and Wednesdays is currently looking for a "utility" musician rooted mostly in bass, cello or piano. Must have the ability to play multiple instruments. Backing vocals a plus, but not a must. Only female applicants will be considered.
