Have you wanted to experience the thrill of performing with a band? If so, Kosmic's Weekend Warriors is for you!
Kosmic, in conjunction with the West End Music Academy, take you through a series of jams & rehearsals, culminating in a big gig at the end for you to invite your friends to, making it a big night for your band' and the other participating bands.
"Join A Band For Fun!"
Each band is selected on ability and interests, and we provide a band 'coach' to help make it all work. You don't have to be a high level player, in fact, we are trying to encourage the less experienced player, so don't feel you are not good enough!
Kosmic Sound supply all backline equipment, keyboards, PA and drums, and even supply roadies on the night of the gig, so you can relax and prime yourself for the performance and sign autographs!
West End Music Academy supply rehearsal space and the top quality coaches, and some experienced Kosmic staff will also oversee things to make sure you get the most enjoyment out of the project.
"A great way to learn"
We have had some interest from players keen on doing a Rolling Stones thing, some basic blues, and classic rock. We also expect 60's music to be popular, especially The Shadows, so come on out all budding Hank Marvins!
