Weez is a 25 year old Hip-Hop artist currently living in Pretoria. He is an original artist who creates his own lyrics and is constantly working and learning with an ear on the streets.
His music is exciting new and fresh in his specific genre and his mission is to create ‘n product that every culture can relate to, both locally and in the international market.
“It’s about time that somebody step up and do Hip-Hop the way it’s suppose to be! South African needs a power injection for the Hip-Hop section..”
Besides working with local producers, Weez also broadened his vision and cohered with other producers from Zimbabwe, California and New York.
Weez made his first professional recording in August 2006 with a producer from Nigeria named “Maye” and his song called “Verbal Massacre” was play listed on a local radio station – 5 FM.
This song sneaked onto the hi5@5 chart as a new entry at number 20. Thereafter it hit the number 1 spot on this chart for 2 weeks in a row and remained for a total of 11 weeks on the top 25 hit chart.
This hit song “Verbal Massacre” was recently also recorded on a compilation album in the United States by DJ Khaled from the Terror Squad with other artist that included AKON and T.I.
The “Zoo Magazine” did a formal interview in March this year with him and in the publication the reporter announced Weez as “… South Africa’s new EMINEM”
Weez recently recorded a track with B-Real from Cypress Hill in LA called "Step back" and will be on his album "Get Ready"
LAtin Thug Records also decided to sign WEEZ on an international distribution deal for Get Ready.
A well known local SA DJ, “Lady Lea”, did a remix of one of Weez’s a songs called “Permanent Damage” . The song is being played in all major clubs around South-Africa.
The video for Permanent Damage is currently on air and making waves globally.

ThankS for showing appreciation for my music which has taken pain and suffering to produce. I have had to endure a bit more of that pain and suffering hence forth the long absence. Good thing is you know I also got some good track out of that. I have taken my dream and vision into my own hands over the last few months, the independent world is no joke.But with God all things are possible and finally I think sticking to my guns will pay off.
