| About Weimar |
Weimar is musical project runned by the leader Radek Kordasiewicz. The most experimental of his efforts, Weimar is a journey into the improvised and unexpected sounds and in the same time it’s the only one of his projects with no ballast of expectations, self-humorous, loosely musically based form of activity.
Weimar exists since summer 2005. Then the first recording sessions of this music took place in the silence and dark of the room of leader. Improvised, sometimes rapid and sometimes delicate- that music conatined various feelings and emotions, new views on what the sound should or could be as well as a portion of humour. Since then the project was on hold with few additional tracks recorded in last sixteen months.
Now Weimar is the biggest project for Radek, in the matters of time and releases. He experiments with many sounds, breaks new grounds- sometimes with funny results, combining ambient, experimental electronic music and influences from the past (everything from synth pop to metal). The results are growing in numbers- his current works under the name of Weimar are four EPs of "Ambiences" series and second full lenght album planned for release sometime in 2008 through Amduscias Records netlabel (which is Weimar’s true musical home). Future of this project is a mystery even for its creator- collaborating with various guests he wants to explore these foggy areas of music- inspired by horror classics, experimental arts and a strong sense of humour.
