MySpace a place for friends

About Me: I had the opportunity to watch a friend create a custom web page and was in awe how he made it seem so easy. He challenged me to create one and the learning experiance began.

I first started out just looking for some free web hosting when someone told me about MySpace, and within a day or so I saw the Dateline special about predators online. Wouldn't you know it they were using MySpace. At that point I decided not to use a MySpace page because in addition to the bad press, most of what I saw was a younger crowd lying to themselves on their own pages about how great they were or how popular or sexy or studly and the list goes on.

So after talking to some of my friends I came to the decision I would make a page here. But unlike the common types of pages this one would be designed to inspire and uplift and hopefully create a pause in which to reflect upon our direction in life.

Well my friends all thought that was the perfect idea since that's the way I've always been according to them. Putting others first, and doing my best to give everyone around me a hand up. And being a christian I don't think I would want it any other way.

And of course all of the other information about me such as age/race/gender etc just isn't all that important, but it can be seen on the information bar on my blogs.
