I can't possibly answer this question without suggesting the idea that I think this music is on the same level as a bunch of things that it couldn't possibly be. That being said: The Residents, Frank Zappa, King Crimson, Peter Gordon, David Dunn, Nels Cline, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Sonic Youth, Beck's noisier stuff, Trans Am, Captain Beefheart, David Bowie's "LOW", etc.

All the bits of you and your life that are much better and much worse than the parts you regularly access.
When Dr. Pants released the FEEZLE DAY album in 2000, it was a "ground zero" moment for me and the music I had made/wanted to make. It was my original plan that Dr. Pants would, in some way, shape or form, continue to explore all the stylistic directions that existed on that album. Hence, the release of the WERKS 2 album in 2005, as a further exploration of the more "far out" aspects of FEEZLE DAY and the original WERKS album (1997). As things continue to proceed to their logical end, it has become apparent to me that Dr. Pants can and should be limited to material that falls within certain lines, and the rest of it...the more BIZARRE and perhaps FAR OUT bits...are now what is called WEIRD FILES. WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF WEIRD FILES.
Special thanks to KC Clifford for the name. Keep a look out here for WEIRD FILES LIVE DATES.
You and your peeps are officially invited by the birthday middle aging woman to her masquerade of sorts Birthday Mixer at The Conservatory on February 21st, just like the flier says. You can wear a mask, it doesn't even have to be on your face. Bring a friend, especially rock and roller types that like to make out and be life long friends.
