About me:
Howdy folks, welcome to the official MySpace for
Weirdomusic.com.
Weirdomusic was founded in 2001 by Marco Kalnenek, a music freak, webmaster and label owner from Heerlen, the Netherlands.
Weirdomusic.com
was nominated for a Webby Award in 2004.
In the same year our netlabel
WM Recordings
went online.
We also moderate a bunch of mailing lists, including one for Sun Ra collectors, one for fans of Balkan Brass music
and the infamous
Pop Culture Links mailing list.We like lots of Different music: from Frank Zappa to Les Baxter, from Sun Ra to Beck, from Serge Gainsbourg to Thelonious Monk, from Exotica to Balkan Brass,
from Funk to Afrobeat and beyond.
