The above was how this section looked when I started dabbling with MySpace to see what it was all about. I quickly realised that if used properly, it is a very useful tool. Therefore for those of you who may be genuinely interested a bit more about me, this is an honest further addition. My goal is to achieve so that you continue reading and I hold your interest, time will tell. I am and will be continually adding and enhancing my profile page.
Now to try and keep it brief,bite-sized and easy both on the eye and the mind, but try and tell you a lot.
I feel the information may be relevant in order to discover 'THE NATURE OF THE BEAST'. Was born in Tanzania, E.Africa of Indian (Gujarati - W. India) ethnicity. When in Africa,at age 10ish,have lived in India for several months to see grandparents etc. and then back to Tanzania. In 1966,emigrated with parents at the age of 12 to UK and settled in Leicester, E. Midlands, England. After so many years here,this is my home and love this Island and I benefit from all the cultures.
In 1974, was a student in London and lived in Paddington. As I went to gigs probably more than four times a week at that time, failed in my studies. No regrets. Got my haircut and retuned to Leicester and got a job in a Bank. After all that music in London, I desperately missed the place and managed to get an expenses paid job with the Bank for six months in London...ROCK ON & Rock & Roll. Here in 1974, met my now ex-wife, who is English and remains my best friend to date. We settled in S. London & Surrey and moved to E.Sussex in the home where I live now. She left in 1990, I owe her a lot and we treasure happy times we had together.
I took early retirement at reaching 50, for self preservation and to enjoy life and the luxury of TIME. Presently managing to survive on a small but adequate pension.
I am lucky to have travelled a fair bit. Been to Los Angeles, Australia twice, done Ayres Rock, Kings Canyon, Alice Springs, Cairns (one of my favourite places, awesome Great Barrier Reef),Melbourne and spent a New Years Eve in a waterfront hotel in Sydney. Also been to Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok (twice) and Koh Samui, and also went to the 'full moon' party at Koh Phangan. I have lost count of the number of times I have been to Ireland, almost all visits for musical events. Seen most areas of Ireland covering from Kinsale in the very south to Bunbeg Donegal up north and areas between.
I do not play any musical instruments or sing.I marvel at some of the extremely moving yet simple lyrics people write and also how singers beautifully bring them to life. No apologies for stating that a tune can bring tears to my eyes and yet at times I still play the 'air-guitar' (not a pretty sight)!!

(at Ziggy stage), Nanci Griffith, Black Sabbath, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, Rory Gallagher,Horslips,Nana Mouskouri, T. Rex, Tom Jones,Yes,Bob Segar & The Silver Bullet Band,Mary & Frances Black,Chuck Berry, B.B. King, Atlan,Hayley Westenra, Led Zepplin.,Ravi & Anoushka Shankar, Amjad Ali Khan, Lata Mangeskar and most of the musicians in my friends list here.I get particular pleasure in supporting and meeting Musicians and Performers of all level. It is also a privilege to be friends of quite a few of you, thanks for the guest tickets and the backstage invites etc,.. nothing ever taken for granted by me.

thanks so much, i will check out your you tube, must go along 2 c more acoustic sussex events! also will do the chiddingly open mic found out about it last night. next one is next tues not sure if i'll do that one tho or not as have an aerobics exam that day! but the one after that i will do which is 2 weeks after that if i'm right.
