qu'est-ce que weirdsville ?
weirdsville ne peut pas etre consideré comme un groupe car je fait de la musique seul (pour le moment;); weirdsville est avant tout un concept experimental basé sur l'utilisation de tout types d'instruments,, inspiré par la nature ,l'urbanisation ,le melange de deux (comme une usine petrochimique illuminée la nuit au milieux d'une foret ;) les vieilles serie tv bizarres americaines et australiennes pour ado genre "alana ou le futur imparfait" et "eerie indiana", les films tech noir ou sci-fi des années 80/90 et les sons non conventionnels; actuellement j'ai laissé de coté la guitare et les distortions pour me concentrer sur l'utilisation de matos electronique comme les platines ,les groovebox roland, sampleurs, noisebox et les instruments torturés au circuit bending; en ce moment j'attend de pouvoir me payer le matos necessaire pour un bon enregistrement numerique, car pour l'instant , je travaille en analogique sur vielles cassette audio facon Boards of Canada -ce qui est plutot cool mais qui me pose probleme pour vous poster du son propre sur Myspace !!!;
pour ce qui est du nom du groupe, certains pourrait penser que c'est inspiré du film canadien Weirdsville sortit en 2007, mais en realité , c'est tiré de la serie "eerie indiana" et d'un de ses personnage phare "dash-X", surnomé l'enfant au cheveux gris, et qui disait s'etre reveillé a Weirdsville , sans souvenir de ses parents , de son nom, ou de la ou il habitait;

weirdsville can't be considered as a band because im playin music alone( for the moment;) ;
weirdsville is above all an experimental concept based on the use of all kinf of strange instruments.
weirdsville is inspired by nature, urbanization , the blend of the two (like a factory illuminated at night in the middle of the forest,lol;), the old australian and american tv serials like "the girl from tommorow" and "eerie indiana" for example, 80's and 90's tech-noir and sci-fi movies, and unconventional sounds;for the moment , im workin with turntables, grooveboxes, noiseboxes, samplers , circuit bent instruments and distorted guitars; i waits to be able to pay me a good recording equipment because for the moment im recording on old analog tape recorder and vintage ausio tapes just as the bant "Boards of canada"; its a cool way for recording, but its a problem when you want to post some clean musics on myspace !)
concerning the name of the band, some could think that it was inspired by the 2007 canadian movie "Weirdsville" (which is a really cool movie !!), but in fact , its inspired by the 90's tv serial "Eerie Indiana" and one of his main character "dash-X" , called "the kid with grey hair" too, and who claims that he woke up in weirdsville without any knowledge of how he got there; he has no memory of parents, hometown, past or his real name;
