Weird Weather is an experimental folk project structured around the songs of Nick Ferrio. His songs have been described as haunting and stark; both “timeless and placeless.” Aside from Nick Ferrio’s guitar, lap-steel and voice, the band is comprised of multi-instrumentalist Mike Duguay, mandolin player Jay Swinnerton and lead electric guitarist Ryan Perks. Their live sound is both sparse yet dynamic sounding best when their layered vocal harmonies and many instruments can reverberate in wooden rooms.
Hey Nick...just wanted to remind you to email me the pictures from the ADDV show...in return I will not steal your soul at midnight...thanks! Dirty Pat Walsh
That was a great set at The Boat. Hard-edged garage-rock with a bit of experimentalism thrown in there. Rippling energy that reminded me of a band from the 60's, defining the spirit of what it means to rock. Keep to your musical vision.
Dear Nick, You are what helped me survive the summer in sutton. Seriously, the best days were us chatting about the world, music, art, and also silly things like pets and how we love them! Hope you're well. Miriam thinks it's amazing that you deliver coffee.
Thanks so much for the entertaining set yesterday. Loved the Destination: Weather part of your set!!! Couldn't have imagined doing the festival without you!

Thanks for clearing a little space in your Canadian hearts for a yodeling banjo player from NYC. I'll look for you next time I hit Ontario. Best, Curtis ----- Curtis Eller's American Circus www.curtiseller.com
That's a negative. Bad weekend and a show with Jim McKenty and his playing cards beckons in september. Thanks for thinking of us though. Can we play tomorrow night?
