weissmuller, a Dordrecht/Delft based group, combines the musical genious of Casper Rosenquist (multi-instrumentalist, well known karaoke-artist, drummer of Fervid and active in many other famous Dordrecht based bands) the charism and songwriting ability of Leo van Setten (former Strange Earl Winston, Political Asylum, The Itch, Eager, Lucky Stiff Orville) and the groove of the tiniest but coolest dj in Delft 'DJOJ' Wim du Mortier (former Pukkelmus, The Itch, Eager). They released three ep's: 'ever been happy' (2008); 'cheerleaders fighting gravity' (2009) and raw&welldone (2009), named so because it was recorded and mixed in just one day, and sounds raw and thats just the way we like it.

We are in fact in Bristol, UK, home (or near it anyway) to the best cider in the world...we are from a variety of places so as for writing in a mixture of Dutch and English, just the chance to practice. Ik was twee keer in Utrecht voor een paar maanden geweest en houd van de nederlandse taal dus...also listening to alot of Spinvis and Simon Vinkenoog so....good luck in your gig hunt!
