About me:

My names Amanda. I'm a student at the Art Institute. I'm studying to become a Graphic Designer, which is awesome. I'm 19, which is a blah because I only have these last few months as a teenager. lol. I love painting, writing, reading, making sculptures and assemblages, tinkering with photoshop and otherwise being creative. Art is my life, and I'm glad that there is a career that is actually reasonable to go to art school for. WHOOHOO! I'm a strong supporter of tattooing, and have several already. If you need a good tattooist and are in the phoenix area, let me know. I gots a guy you can go to. :) I'm an alumni/nus/former student/something of Agua Fria. I love my friends, my family, and especially my kitty Lacy (AKA John Wayne Lacy AKA The Silent Kitty Ninja!) And yes, the exclamation after Ninja is a part of the name. I'm currently single, which is awesome. No more stupid boyfriend! lol. So anyhoo, that's about it. Not much more to me. What you see is what you get foos!

  • General

    Well, I love movies and music. Especially music. I'm that annoying person who makes you listen to all my songs because I want to discuss their finer merits. Yeah, I'm weird. I love b-movies and indies. I love painting, and lying in the rain. :D

  • Music

    Anything and everything ('cept polka and country). Rock, Alternative, Indie, Pop, Hip Hop, Rap, Classical, techno, electronica, blues, jazz. I listen to everything.

  • Movies

    Silence of the Lambs OF COURSE, um...Pineapple Express, Persepolis, Live Freaky Die Freaky, and various others. If a movie can scare me then it's on the top of the list.

  • Television

    How I met your mother, The L Word, Spongebob

  • Books

    Anything with print on it. I particularly like fantasy and thrillers. Everyone must read Richard Laymon (sp?), and of course the Kushiel Series, The City of Bones Trilogy, and Dean Kuntz. I don't even NEED to mention Stephen King, of course. :)

  • Heroes

    My momma, for putting herself through school in order to give me a better life, Frank for not killing himself while putting up with my messy habits, Josh for being so brave and joining the army, Grandma for taking care of my grandfather for so long, and Laurie for being my angel of mercy. :) And of course, Kaylin for getting through all of lifes messes.
