About Welcome Dear Friend

We've been writing melodies, beats and words for the past few years. Stealing moments in the studio and rehearsing wherever we can find the space...including a recent rehearsal in bed.

Our instruments of choice are accordion, Yamaha CS01 synth, glockenspeil, guitar, laptop, melodian and vocals.

Dan often heads off on adventures to collect sounds from our local hood that is Thornbury - a mini disk + microphone is always close at hand. In the end, Welcome Dear Friend creates a soundscape for dreamy days and long enduring tram rides.

We are lucky ducks to have Eugenia as our dear friend and collaborator. Eugenia's images and video bring much goodness to our music making.

thomas	Jun 17 2008 2:27 PM Why nelly i just happen to have a lot of wine and a brand-new pasta machine. These two things i think are designed to go together, and should really be sold in a pack. Perhaps you and your partners in crime would like to help me with those pesky items that keep getting in my way in the kitchen? PS i like your new sounds a lot- i have been waiting for quite a while to hear them, and i must say i am not disappointed.
