The origin of this Well Made Mistake is long, for sure, and very, very occasional.
Pekas, Rica and Gio had already played together in the 90's, in a band called Flying Fatness, the time they were too young and inexperient to move on with it. Nuno was then leader of Black Rain, also a 90's grunge band. While Flying Fatness broke up, Black Rain kept growing, until Nuno decided to join SmallPox, looking for a more sofisticated genre.
Five years later, Gio joined Shot Love and brought Rica to the band. After few months they broke up. Still looking for a project Gio and Rica kept Shot Love's drummer Rui and invited Pekas to form a band. Nuno came to give voice to the band, after being apart from music a few years.
In September of 2006, Gui joined the band to replace Gio in the bass. Two years later, another change in the line up was needed. Jonas (from My Eyes Inside and The Sticks and Stones and the Broken Bones) accepted to take the job on the drums. Ladies and gentlemen, Well Made Mistake.
