I don't actually get this whole "networking" thing. I'm just sort of "going with it".

About me:
Simon Charles Porter [sahy-muhn chahrlz pawr-ter, pohr-]
- noun
1. The original name of the Zealot, partially from a Germanic word meaning “man”, and hired to carry burdens or baggage, as at a railroad station or a hotel.
2. (Chiefly British) That contemporaneously pescetarian vicenarian, who is coupled jubilantly to that mind dessert of many varieties, and who enjoys both adjectives and adverbs ...apparently.
[Origin: 1985; Michael + Beryl]
Synonyms: Simon, Mr Simon, Si, Sim, Simmy, Simone, Simeone, Slimon, Shimon, Porter, Portré, Portal, Portercabin, Porterloo, Ports, Morts, Le Morte, Limort, Sticks, Coppermouth, Charly P, Pomme, BREADBIN, Lemsip, Pitstop, Mark's Brother, Will's Brother, Ed's Brother (and indeed, Mark, Will and Ed themselves).
Antonyms: Barry.
Notes: Often found bathing in a vista of sound, of some sort. The aforementioned are just a few of the names/methods of referral that have been used in addressing Simon Charles Porter. Others, of a more work-related nature are offered thus:
Squire, Maestro, Chief, Boss, Governor, Bruv, Son, Mate, Bud, Blud, Dude.
A simple sort of person - simple Simon, if you will - who leads a humble sort of life, such that it is felt one could list alphabetically, upon request, pretty much all of his interests.
Highlights of his life include bouncing a ball 237 times in a row without dropping it, banging his head on the bottom of a pool, witnessing his brother get up to J in the burp alphabet, not cutting his hair for 383 days, learning how to refer to himself in the third-person, and discovering that he can make people laugh by sullying his good name with slanderous filth.
A music student at City University in London, music is pretty much his life. Plays drums in a band, Clémentine, and has a couple of other side projects.
Other than music, is mainly into travel and photography. Oh - and dry, droll wit.
Laughs a lot, talks too fast, has a tendency to worry needlessly about trivial matters and has been known to make preposterous claims such as having a respectable collection of wooden spoons.
Is the third of four brothers - brothers in the literal sense, although, they would undoubtedly be considered "brothers" in the fraternal sense also.
Used to love Jamiroquai before Stuart Zender left and, to a lesser (yet still noteworthy) extent, Toby Smith.
