wellspring started out as a solo project from jon of bereavement, as it turns out, his brothers dan and jeremiah(also from bereavement)handled drums and lead guitars respectively. the music has received a lot of positive response for those seeking good, original dark/melodic metal with some acoustic/folky influences. the first ep "the divide" will be available late november...we are now taking preorders. thanks for visiting. -

.. the definition of wellspring is 'a source of creativity'...wellspring creates unique yet accessible metal, drawing on a wide range of influences. echoes of Opeth, Enslaved, Emperor, and others can be heard within the music of Wellspring. However, Wellspring doesn't seek to copy their influences, they have forged something new and stand alone.
