As calendar pages turned inexorably towards the new millennium, We Love… was born in Ibiza, when one keen observer, happily exhausted as the last tune wound down from another Sunday morning marathon, pointed out the blindingly obvious: "We love Sundays at Space!"
And the future of We Love… is the evolution of the revolution that began at that moment. The mandate is to focus on what mattered back then. Dispensing with glossy flyers, unnecessary marketing and the kind of club culture sophistication that has made the culture bigger than the clubbing, We Love... is about the fundamentals of a good party that occur every Sunday at Space: the Right DJs at the Right time in the Right place playing the Right music. Among a million clubs keen to market themselves as unique, Space is truly in a class of its own: something to do with ley lines, flight paths, feng shui, the bespoke Funktion 1 soundsystem, or the crowds of ambisexual club superfolk who should be on the cover of Vogue instead of the dance monthlies – everyone’s got an opinion on what makes Space magic.
But don’t be mistaken: We Love… goes deeper than Sundays and Space in Ibiza. It is an international family encompassing connections that go back to Darren Hughes’ days at Cream in the early 90s, and spread as far as the annual We Love… Sounds festivals in Australia to events in Brazil, the UK and further afield.

Over the years, We Love… have gathered a fantastic archive of DJ sets. We feature mixes by big names such as James Zabiela, Steve Lawler and Paul Woolford, our team of talented resident DJs, and up-and-coming faces we think are ones to watch! Some mixes are recorded at our events at Space, Ibiza and around the world, whilst others are mixed exclusively for the We Love… website.
We Love… Fresh Blood is our search to unearth new DJ talent from around the world! Summer 2008 saw hundreds of mixes submitted, and two monthly winners have since gone on to play DJ sets at We Love... Space.
Each month, our favourite mix will be featured on the We Love… website, giving your mix a high-profile home and exposing your DJ talents to the world, and of course the We Love... Space DJ bookers - giving you an invaluable platform from which to launch your DJ career!
