As calendar pages turned inexorably towards the new millennium, We Love… was born in Ibiza, when one keen observer, happily exhausted as the last tune wound down from another Sunday morning marathon, pointed out the blindingly obvious: "We love Sundays at Space!"
And the future of We Love… is the evolution of the revolution that began at that moment. The mandate is to focus on what mattered back then. Dispensing with glossy flyers, unnecessary marketing and the kind of club culture sophistication that has made the culture bigger than the clubbing, We Love... is about the fundamentals of a good party that occur every Sunday at Space: the Right DJs at the Right time in the Right place playing the Right music. Among a million clubs keen to market themselves as unique, Space is truly in a class of its own: something to do with ley lines, flight paths, feng shui, the bespoke Funktion 1 soundsystem, or the crowds of ambisexual club superfolk who should be on the cover of Vogue instead of the dance monthlies – everyone’s got an opinion on what makes Space magic.
But don’t be mistaken: We Love… goes deeper than Sundays and Space in Ibiza. It is an international family encompassing connections that go back to Darren Hughes’ days at Cream in the early 90s, and spread as far as the annual We Love… Sounds festivals in Australia to events in Brazil, the UK and further afield.

Over the years, We Love… have gathered a fantastic archive of DJ sets. We feature mixes by big names such as James Zabiela, Steve Lawler and Paul Woolford, our team of talented resident DJs, and up-and-coming faces we think are ones to watch! Some mixes are recorded at our events at Space, Ibiza and around the world, whilst others are mixed exclusively for the We Love… website.
We Love… Fresh Blood is our search to unearth new DJ talent from around the world! Summer 2008 saw hundreds of mixes submitted: one entrant, Mark Murphy, joined us in Ibiza to play at the We Love… Space 08 closing party, whilst DJ Lunik is set to perform during summer 2009.
Each month, our favourite mix will be featured on the We Love… website, giving your mix a high-profile home and exposing your DJ talents to the world, and of course the We Love… Space DJ bookers - meaning you could be the next fresh DJ to appear at the legendary Space nightclub in Ibiza!

We Love… Remix Competition: We have devised a multi-label remix competition, showcasing the finest tracks from the pool of talent amongst our DJ/producer/label friends, and highlighting and supporting new production talent.
This is your chance to get creative with some of the tracks that will be rocking We Love… Space all summer, as well as raise your profile as a producer. This week our DJ in the mix is recognised as one of the true founding fathers of the Balearic sound, Alfredo.
As one of the original set of 80s DJs that laid the musical foundations for the Ibiza of today, Alfredo is a true Ibiza legend. He has a 16 week sunset terrace residency with We Love... Space this year and this is a chance to listen exclusively to part of one of his truly eclectic sets.
We also speak with covered terrace guest DJ Ralph Lawson, who talks about his new album with his band 2020 soundsystem and also gives us the heads up on why being a DJ on tour is better than being in a band! He also picks out a couple of upfront new tracks for this week's show which is hosted in Ibiza by Tom Brown.

I can't believe it..! I wish to share my little tribute to Michael Jackson with you my dear,
I respected his Artistic Genius but I loved his Unique Persona. I think he was BRITISH in his SOUL and only tried to bring out what he felt trapped inside. He never became who they wanted him to be and he died proud on his own while keepping his integrity. I believe he was hurt once again by someone who instigated his sensitive soul and MJ lost control by trying to calm himself down to avoid arming the instigator with a destructive istinctive reaction. He is a creator not a destroyer The instigator will have to leave now with the burden of the eternal guilt, that's if still owns a worth soul at all. Instigators are Patented Criminals and always get away with murder and WORDS are THE real Weapon of Mass Destruction only not recognized as such. It happens to me all the time and I know when I recognize the same but different. I was so happy to see him blossoming again and I couldn’t wait to see him shine from joy and pride but now we shall never see that EVER. MJ is a great lost and HUMANITY let me down once again. I hope you don’t mind me sharing this with you my dear friend. Love madaMK 3kS!
