| About We Made This Portland |
Jon and Em are getting geared up to begin organizing
WE MADE THIS 2007. We have begun scouting out a new, free,
all age venue to host our 3 day festival, and have also begun
the first round of invitiations to bands that we hope will participate
in this years event.

READ ABOUT WE MADE THIS 2006:
The first edition of We Made This: A Portland Collaborative Compilation was
compiled by Em Brownlowe and Jon Miller of Swallows. The purpose of the
disc is to gather a group of diverse bands and musicians who believe in the
concept of peer promotion to counter act the competitive music scene.

The festival took place August 3-5 at the 9th Avenue Public House.
All three nights were a huge success, and artists invloved self distributed
over 800 free copies of the compilation that accompanied the festival.
