My collection includes hundreds of CDs--everything from ambient, celtic, classical, dance, and swing, to trance, house, new age, opera, and pop. *Today* (and it will probably change tomorrow) I'm into Maria Callas, Cowboy Junkies, Dido, B Tribe, and Mediaeval Baebes. :) | | Movies | "The Secret": www.thesecret.tv; Pride & Prejudice, Emma, The Illusionist, Amelie, The Princess Bride, Dangerous Beauty, A Knight's Tale, Elizabeth, King Arthur, Sweet Land, Moonstruck, Chocolat, American Beauty, Jerry Maguire, Rome (the series), Batman Begins, Dark Knight, Iron Man, and anything with Mae West or created by Baz Luhrmann | | Television | Since they canceled my favorite show ("Studio 60"), I almost never watch tv (and don't subscribe to cable). I'd rather read or watch a movie. I do catch "Bones", "Heroes" and "Battlestar Galactica" on dvd and the net. | | Books | My bookshelves are creaking! (I keep amazon.com in business!) One of my favs is Jacqueline Carey (my camp at Pennsic, Terre d'Ange, was inspired by her Kushiel's series). Another fav is Kim Harrison. (I love vampire novels and Kim's work grabs me far more than Laurell K.'s these days.) Currently on my nightstand (and in a pile by the bed) are too many books to list. (What am I saying? No such thing as "too many books".) |

Have Garb, Will Travel: I'm an avid "rennie", wench, Lady Pirate, and witch (Wiccan). I'm originally from California (born in San Diego) and my home is currently Las Vegas, NV. I'm a member of the SCA and I regularly attend Estrella War, May Potrero War, Pennsic War (started my own camp in '08!), and every ren fair, pirate festival, or Medieval war I can get to. I can't get enough: books, music, peanut butter m&ms, rum, mead, belly dancing, or men in garb. I am self-employed, have a fairly flexible schedule, and I love traveling (my idea of heaven is a road trip that requires garb)!

Who I'd like to meet:
People who are smart, creative, hip, and into travel, good conversation, dining, books and movies. Those who share my interests--not just those living in Vegas--but preferably those who are close enough that we might actually meet someday--maybe at an SCA event? (I don't really have time for pen pals.) Especially fellow SCA members and others into renaissance events and faires, or creative types who write, play music, make movies or create cool things. I do *not* want to meet men who are "visiting Las Vegas next month for a convention", people I have nothing in common with, or anybody who hasn't bothered to write a profile and/or put up a real picture.
