By what measure is it better? I agree with you on a personal level, but not on the macro-level of society and the Earth-situation at-large. Greed, lust, corruption, war and deceit are as strong and alive as ever from the poorest to the richest. We as a human race are in strong denial about this. We have a long way to go before, in my opinion, we can declare things are better.

It is clear by now certain power-groups, like the Federal Reserve, Council on Foreign Relations (Bush, Cheney, Biden, Clinton, Obama), Trilateral Commission (Rockefeller, Brzezinski), Skull & Bones, certain international groups of Freemasonry, and others, have certain goals of expansion and global and local control on economics (G-20), trade (NAFTA, CAFTA, SPP), and war and peace (UN, NATO, Olympics).

I don't believe in left-wing, right-wing, black or white, republican or democrat, politics. Follow the money. All the rest is a smoke-screen to cover an occult and covert agenda. You can change the politicians in an "election" whenever you want, but in reality the same policies have always been carried out regardless, for the last 100 years. Expansion and control. In my view, today is not better, but it is different. We always have an opportunity to make things better in our own lives and in the end, that is the only way things will ever "change" for the better because it is people who run institutions and governments.
