My foot was pulled from something...MY LEG!    Seriously it was.  At the scene my foot had been ripped off.  They tried for months to save it, to no avail.  And I remember the accident very clearly, but I don't care to talk about it much these days.

A Correction, and point of clarification, in promoting Livingstone Fagan's New Website,  I noted he had lost his Wife, Mother and Daughter in the flames at Mt. Carmel on April 19,1993, this is incorrect, Mr. Fagan did lose his wife, and mother, he has two Children, both surviving and in England.  My Apologies.  I am very passionate about the crimes I witnessed via TV coverage at Waco in 1993.  Clive Doyle, lost a daughter to those flames, having a daughter myself, such empathy is part of that which fuels my outrage.

For those never having heard the "OTHER SIDE OF THE STORY" regarding the event known as "WACO" A Branch Davidian Survivor Mr. Livingstone Fagan recently asked me to make a website for him. It was my honor to do so.  He has written a Manuscript offering insight into that event.  The manuscript currently in the hands of publishers is showcased on that website, offering more that 60% of it's contents for consideration by the general public with a perspective from one on the other side of those walls we saw so many bullets enter into at Mt. Carmel on February 28th 1993.  Mr. Fagan also lost His Mother, His wife, and His daughter to those flames on April 19th, 1993.  You can see that website and it's contents Here:

    http://david.koresh-lf-2009.angelfire.com/index.html

There have been other websites by 3rd parties for various other Branch Davidian Surviors, and sites sympathetic to thier plight.  This is the FIRST, and at this time ONLY Website currently endorsed by one of those Surviving Branch Davidians who were actual students of David Koresh.

    Thank you for your consideration,
    -Steven Benjamin

    Wendi,
Took My First STEPS with NO CANE! NO WALKER! On April 4th...

Now the work will begin, to get rid of 50 lbs of hospital fat! And to get to a place where I can effectively train Kung Fu again.

Wing Chun is a secretive art at it's higher levels. I don't claim to be there, but I am very protective of that I have been taught.
My most protected possession is my notes, I have them tucked away in a secure
location in a Fire/water proof safe purchased just to that end.

My Notes are very private and NO ONE has ever been allowed to read
them save myself, and Sifu upon his demand.
    I have well over a
    thousand pages of notes.
It was my habit in the past year or two prior
to the accident to use a camera and auto timer to take self photos
when Alone in the LAbs at college (I was the lab tech)
or in my own home gym.
I would use these photos to later draw
    illustrations into my notes.

On a rare few occaisions, about 4 total I had others help in this
process, using the same time to offer a Demonstration, to also
document it to update my notes.
And there were two photo shoots as
well, one video taped of me breaking blocks with my hand, I found these in my home pc archives and added them as well, you may find it
entertaining. Anyway, hopefully it will load this time, 3 or 4 attempts thus far have failed.

Ok, here is the video. About 8 minutes long.

I had to place it here because YouTube disabled the audio, and GOOGLE did likewise to the whole video due to the soundtrack.

The soundtrack is set to START AUTOMATICALLY...
    THE VIDEO is NOT!

So when you click on the page to view it, wait about 1-2 seconds, no
more, no less and CLICK start and it should sync up about right, I
tried it a couple of times and it worked fine.

You might get a "KICK" out of a couple of the pics, quite literally,
    anyway, here is the link:

I have also saved all of Livingston's work if you ever need copies.
There is quite a bit of his material

I have one of the shirts that the people wore at Mt. Carmel in support of David's musical approach to Christianity. Its a size small and I wear a mens medium. If you think it will fit you, you can have it.

  • Feb 12 2009 10:05 AM

Wendi, send me your email, I have some photos and audios that I want to see if you have them already. Plus the negotiation transcripts (Bible studies to the FBI)

A lot more of these from that era. Edna was a great woman.

This is a request to my loved ones, both friend and family, ties of different measure, but all anchored to my heart.
Many of you, perhaps all, are aware of my recent motorcycle accident and the resulting amputation of my right foot and approximately 1/3 to 1/2 of the same lower leg. I have written a blog and placed it both on the Mt.Carmel DB, and as well MYSPACE, included in this announcement is the link to the blog on MySpace. com, this is not about some vision of a distant earthquake, nor some recent flood or storm which was forewarned some time ago, this blog is about life, about loss, about friends and family, and while a great portion talks about my own experiences, this blog, is about you, and it is perhaps one of the most important blogs I have written.

People deal with loss in many ways, and I respectfully request that you read it in full and consider ALL of it's content. While it is not about political or religious affiliations, it is about God, it about us, and it is about me moving on with my life now that my foot is gone, but it is much more, I assure you, I spent the better part of 3 hours preparing it, and I prepared it for you, if you have never taken into consideration one thing I have written, please do so now and follow the link provided,

and I thank you, sincerely, -Steven
