I grew up in a town just across the river from Portland, Oregon, far from agriculture and honkytonks... Although I love country and consider myself a country girl at heart, I didn't grow up with it! I grew up listening to all sorts of music from the 80's and early 90's... from Criss Cross to Whitney Houston, Billy Idol to Toni Braxton, Paula Abdul to Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, I love it all. I have listened to country almost exclusively over the last 6 years, and it's a little ridiculous to be so tunnel-minded! So now, I am branching out and listening to anything I can get my ears on! I recently discovered a band called Five Finger Death Punch, and they're really good! I've also been introduced to the White Stripes, the Pixies, the Cure, Doughtry, and hundreds of others...I am trying to absorb some of the local Spokane music as well, and being trained how to learn about new as well as love music by the one and only R. Reidt! :P
I love classic rock, but I will listen to almost anything...and my favorite song of all time is Truly, Madly, Deeply by Savage Garden :)
I also love the classics-especially Canon by Pachelbel. I am generally open-minded, so if you want to introduce me to something new, just let me know! My friend Jeremy recently introduced me to Jack Johnson, and I love him! :D
Ben Harper is cool, and so is John Mayer, Dave Matthews, Dave Costa... I pretty much just LOVE MUSIC! :)
Sadly, I often know songs (like from the radio) and not the title or artist... so please introduce me! :)
Movies
I like mushy ones where the girl gets pampered and paid attention to... its my escape from reality, cuz guys do not really do that stuff! :) But I also love comedies, drama, some horror, not big into sci-fi... but there are some, like I Robot, which is one of my favorite movies! Superbad cracked me up, Sweet Home Alabama is incredible, the Seventh Seal was actually pretty good ;)
Wizard of Oz is my all-time favorite movie since I was a little kid! :) Adam Sandler, Will Ferrel, Jim Carrey, Larry the Cable Guy, Chris Farley, David Spade, Chris Rock, Carlos Mencia, etc...I love to laugh, so any movies containing comedians are high on my list! :) Feel free to ask me more about this subject or introduce me to new movies!!! :)
Television
ROSEANNE-best show ever, (feels like home-lol) I love CSI, Law and Order, House, anything that makes me think, pretty much. And anything funny (think According to Jim, 2.5 Men, Still Standing...). I Love Brothers and Sisters, Desperate Housewives, and Grey's Anatomy, too! :)

Books
I love to read! (I used to be a total bookworm, but now I don't have time!)
:( Someday when I am retired I will rekindle the passion I used to have time for when it came to a good novel. Either way, I like Harry Potter (yes, I'm one of THEM), Ann Rule's True Crime books, I used to be obsessed with Stephen King...But alas, like I said, no time... (...and somehow I always make time for MySpace...Hmmm...) I recently finished book seven of the Harry Potter series...AWESOME!!! I recommend "I Am America, and So Can You" By Stephen Colbert-funny!

God, of course, as well as anyone that has had something terrible and traumatic happen in their lives and is still walking, talking, and enjoying life-you're a hero to me-not all of us can do that!

Hmmm, what would somebody want to know about me? Well, I come from a small town in the mouth of the Columbia River Gorge, also known as Washougal, or "the Shoug"-LOL. I moved to the Spokane area when I was eighteen, so I could go to college for interior design. Over the summer, I met a man named Emery. We got married after only knowing each other for six months, and we made it last five and a half years, but he decided that his coworker was who he wanted to be with, so we're divorced now. It's not what I had planned, but I can't remain married to a man that doesn't love or appreciate the incredible woman that I am!!! I have found the happy, Smiley person that I used to be since Emery left me, and I love her!!! ♥ I am now working on becoming the woman I have always wanted to be, and the process is a long one! :P I can't wait to find someone that has the same outlook on life, someone that really wants to enjoy their years on earth... ♥ I graduated from Spokane Falls Community College on June 15, 2007 with an Associates in Applied Science and an additional 3-year Professional Diploma in Interior Design, and then transferred to Washington State University to complete my Senior year of the Interior Design Program! I worked my butt off, but I gained many friends along the way, and overall it was a terrific experience. I just graduated on May 2, 2008 with my Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design!!! Now I am looking for an interior design job!!! ♥ Still no babies, it just didn't happen with Emery and I. But I can wait for the right guy to come along! Until then, I have plenty of neices and nephews to keep me busy! At last count there were 5 nephews and 5 nieces and one on the way! And that's not even including the "nieces and nephews" of my friends that I have 'adopted.' :) ♥ My lifetime goals are to have my very own horses, be a wife and mother, design and build my own home in the country, become a successful interior designer, and get to see my grandchildren born before I die... ♥ Um, I really don't know what else people may want to know-so send me a message and we will talk!
