I married my long-time friend David on a perfect sunny autumn day, October 13th, 2007. Our beautiful baby girl Raeanna was born healthy on July 16th, 2008 after a VERY difficult pregnancy that I'm told is supposed to help me "appreciate her more". I have never felt such immediate unconditional love for anything before! Being a mother and wife is amazing and I only love them both more with the passing of each day.
Music
Yes please! I listen to just about everything, and am nearly obsessed with my ipod... *Ahhhhhh* Thousands of songs at the tips of my fingers and small enough to fit in my pocket...
I hate to listen to, but love to sing opera. I don't like rap or country, but I still am open to trying. Pink Floyd was my first love in music and is still at the top of my playlists. David Gilmour's album "On an Island" blew my mind, his voice is still unbelievable! Sarah Brightman's still got it!
I stick to mostly classic rock, but listen to literally ALMOST every genre...
My favorite music though, is live... performing. I love to sing and perform, I do still play the piano, and practice more now than ever. My brother Ben's guitar playing still amazes me, and I wait for him to "be discovered" as an awesome talent!
Movies
Netflix is our friend. We don't have cable or anything, so we have come to love Netflix. Wall-E is one of the last movies we watched, and my niece Lilly and my nephew Johnny (J-man) watch, and demand to watch it over and over!
We watch every kind of movie, and are open to suggestions for new ones to try. Favorites? Too many to list that's for sure!
Books
When I have or make time, yes, I still enjoy reading. The last book I read? My Dad's book about over-coming the reasons for denying Christianity "What's Your Excuse". He's working on his second book, so it will be that one soon. The "What to Expect: The First Year" is always out for my curiosity about the baby, and with my limited leisure time, is usually the only book I make the time to read right now.

About me: Me in a nutshell? Music is like breathing, my daughter Raeanna is my heart's beat, and my husband is love. Singing is one of my deepest passions, and I am FINALLY beginning to pursue it whenever and where ever I can! My mother and father (Mommy and Daddy) are my heroes and much of my inspiration comes from them. I enjoy reading, long walks on the beach... wait... who cares about the walking, GET ME IN THE WATER! I love the water, but don't like the ocean. I love the stars but hate darkness.
Depression, once like acid in my veins, which ruled over me for many years is gone, completely. I am learning to love my strengths, my talents, and yes, even learning to love my faults and weaknesses. I live each day and WANT to live each day... I never thought I could say that honestly.
I'm artistic, creative, and musical when I make the time to be so. I'm not a good housekeeper, but I am trying. I'm too good of a cook, and eat too much because of it. I hate exercising and believe it to be nothing more than an evil necessity. I'm perpetually dieting and trying to make myself healthy (so I can have as many years with my family as God will allow me).
Hmmm... better stop there, that's not much of a nutshell is it? More like a Peanut the size of a bus huh?
Who I'd like to meet: Well, already met Bruce Campbell (TOTALLY AWESOME)! ARMY OF DARKNESS RULES! Celebrities? I'd, of course like to meet Sarah Brightman because I attribute much of my passion for singing to her music, Amy Lee because she writes music that manages to say exactly what I would say if I had the courage, and Brett Manning because his vocal program Singing Success is the best thing that has ever happened to my voice! He is a genious and I would like very much to tell him "thank you"!
