About me...I was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and started playing the piano at six years old. By eleven I was competing in local festivals. I took lessons until I was 18 years old through private instruction. For four years I have been working as the Organist for the Ansgar Danish Lutheran Church in Edmonton. I am proud to be part of the Danish community, sticking to my roots.
I started composing in 2001 shortly after the 911 attacks on the US. I began by writing lyrical poetry. I soon found that writing was therapeutic. An outlet for bottled up emotions inside. So I started pouring my heart out into instrumental compositions.
My latest album, the Journey, was completed in Dec 08 recorded in my home studio. The Journey consists of 12 original instrumental tracks I have written over the past year. The past year has been a struggle and quite the journey with many bridges to cross. Rejoice, came to me at 3 in the morning after a long bout of writer's block.
