Wendy Jepsen’s second release,
“Song of the Bride”, is now available.
Inspired by prayerful exploration of
scripture regarding the relationship between Christ as the Bridegroom and the
individual believer/corporate Church as the Bride, Wendy has released a
collection of original, worship focused songs she hopes will inspire deep
communion with God in all who listen. The arrangements on the project are
acoustic guitar driven, ranging from simple guitar/vocal on “I Remember You”
to a variety of arrangements with multi-layered harmonies and soaring violin/
electric guitar solos.
Wendy was born in Anaheim,
California, moving to Utah at age 9. After a rebellious teenage period, she
encountered the love of God in Christ, and began a journey into an ever
deepening intimacy with the Creator. Wendy reached a pivotal point in her
Christian walk during a 2 1/2 year period in which she had no voice. During this
“wilderness” time, Wendy experienced a deepening of her relationship with God as
she found His voice to be one of tenderness and mercy (Hosea 2:14-16, 20). Her
love of music and songwriting has become a vehicle of expressing and sharing the
reality of God's healing and love, and her passion is to encourage others to
seek a life of deeper intimacy with Christ. Wendy is involved in the worship
ministry at her church, and has ministered in concert, church, and prison
settings nationwide.
