I’ve never wrote a profile on myself before but we’ll give it a go ay?
My eldest son hounded me to do one, as he has his own for his music. By the way he’s a good D.J/Producer and quite well known.
People say to start at the beginning but I’m not quite sure where that is exactly. Three years ago, which wasn’t that long after I was forced onto this planet, I started to write poetry? Where my writing skills came from I really don’t know as I have never written in my entire life. From the first one I wrote, which may I add was written whilst I was at work? From then on I wrote like mad, morning, noon and night. I was living and breathing poetry. In the space of about two years I had written roughly two to three hundred poems. Needless to say in that space of time I didn’t get much sleep as my mind wouldn‘t stop. My poems are all about my life, sad, funny, feelings and so on. They are also about other people in my life, family, friends and people at work. Trying to capture moments past and present of myself as well as others, which people say I have done to a T. I have had one published in my local paper and then three published in paperback with a publisher in London, of which one of those was printed in a hardback version. I then went on to publish my own book and designing the cover, with the help of my boyfriend as I was still learning how to use a computer. I had known what my cover would look like long before I did the book yet had no intentions to do one then, it was just a mere thought. I decided to have one hundred copies printed and have sold about seventy. The title of my book is called “Inspirations.” I decided to go ahead with my book after the death of my mother and have dedicated it to her. Some of the money from the sales is being donated to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
