MySpace Layouts

Called "the Florence Nightingale of coffeehouse musicians", a "fan's fan" and "local folk angel", "Wendy V" has a rewarding history of encouragement to musicians and other creative types as a writer, self promotion consultant, coach and speaker. Her audiobook CD "Treasures In the Tip Jar: the Art of Awesome Fan Support", and her instructional e-book "Promoting and Marketing Your Musical Talent" offer practical, common sense tips for beginning and professional musicians and their fans.

Wendy's website at www.wendyv.com offers support and resources for both artists and fans, promotional tips and hints for fans on how to get radio airplay for their favorite artists. Wendy's other web venture is Embrace Encouragement (www.embraceencouragement.com), where she encourages and inspires musicians and artists who want to take their gifts to higher levels and new audiences by being their "biggest fan" . She also writes a regular newsletter "Wendy V's Encouraging Words", focusing on ways to embrace encouragement in all forms. Last year, Wendy launched "Wendy V's Ponder Cast", a new podcast covering music, musicians, radio, faith and encouragement.

Now based in Nashville, Wendy carries on the tradition of musician support with her newest blog, Wendy V's Nashville Blend, where she will be spotlighting events she attends in Nashville, focusing on singers, songwriters and musicians who deserve some attention. "I hope I can be a beacon of light and encouragement to musicians here in Nashville as I have been elsewhere," she says.

In September 2007, Wendy resumed offering promotion services for musicians. She offers CD radio marketing, bio and press release writing, website copy and consulting services for the beginning performing musician (or those at it for awhile seeking advice) on how to effectively communicate your music and your message and put yourself out there. See the music promotion page at www.wendyv.com for more information.
