You can accomplish anything you set your mind to, as long as you are willing to take the necessary steps to make that happen. My goal as a recording engineer is to simply understand the kind of recording you want to make and show you how to make it. Sometimes that involves a ton of pre-production, weeks of recording and a bit of post-production magic. Other times it involves going into the studio and laying everything down in one weekend. Regardless of the vision you have for your project, the recording process should always begin with good communication between the artist and engineer.
