I grew up listening to music. I would watch the Porter Waggner show and all the great music shows that came on on Saterday night when I was only very young. I thought it was the grandest thing to see people play and sing. To express themselves trough music.
I would go to church with my family and hear groups come and sing the good old Gospel songs.
Then as I grew I heard of a man from near my hometown that was singging rock and roll. Pat Upton of the spiral staircase. I thought it was grand that someone from that close to home had made it to the radio with such a great song.
Once in a while I would sing gospel music on the radio from Rainsville Alabama. I didn't know at the time I was singing that the man doing the broudcast was going to be the lead guitar player for ALABAMA. Jeff came out after I sang and praised me for for my voice. That ment a lot to me then and still does today.
All the boys from Fort Payne had a great Influince on my music. I thought it was great that they changed the face of country music.
Allthough The boys might not know me if they met me on the street. I know them and Randys mom use to come to our church and sing. I have spoke with her several times and have spoke with Randy a few.
They infuenced most all the musicans in our area. We would all like to have lived the dream that they have lived.
Many outhers have influence me and my music. I thank God for music. It is one of the best gifts to this world. And am thankful I learned how to play and he gave me my voice.

I am fortunate to have been born on Sand Mountain in North Alabama.I was raised in a Christan home.I had a great love for music at an early age. At the age of nine I gave my heart to God but my life was to follow. And still is. I am fortunate to have been born in such an area with rich heritage in music.A lot of great musicans live on this mountain range. And it has been my pleasure to perform with a few.
As my life in music progressed I have been involved in Southern Rock, Country, Blues, Bluegrass, Southern Gospel, Contemporary Gospel, Praise and Worship,And Country/Gospel music.
In 2007 I was a finalist in the traditional Gospel catagoryin the Alabama Country Gospel music Association.{A.C.G.M.A.}
In 2008 I was namen traditional country vocalist and entertainer of the year in the ACGMA and compeated in the National competion in Pigion Forge Tennessee at the Country Tonight theater.
In 2009 I was a guest on WAXC TV in Alexader City Alabama on the barnyard with Keeny Dean. I enjoy entertaining in Alabama and surrounding states.
I have been a music director and assistant director for many churches I have attended through the years.
I was part of the Praise and Worship team at Albertville First United Methodist for about 2 years.And part of the Chancel choir. Then at World Harvest for about a year. And now I am bass player for Crossroads Assembly of God Albertville Alabama.And sing in the praise team. I enjoy the ministry there. And perform Country/Gospel music in my area as well.
I am thankful to God for the talents that I have and pray they are always used wisely.
I belive that Country music is an expression of the human side of mankind. And that Gospel music,Praise and Worship is an expression on the Spirit of God and of adoration to God from the heart of humanity his children.
My vision is to give back to God with my talents and to bless people with my God given talent.
