Wes Hayden's popularity and talent became obvious when he was asked to play for President George W. Bush.
With the release of Wes Hayden's new album, "Full Circle", Hayden has captured the attention of the music industry and country radio stations.
Wes Hayden's powerful country voice and his unique songwriting abilities shine thru in this fine collection of 10 great traditional Texas style country songs written by Hayden.
Texas Country BUZZ Magazine calls the album, “a powerful collection of true Texas music that blends itself within Nashville roots. “Full Circle” is one of the most promising albums of the year! Every track off of this 10 song album made me want to get on the dance floor. The first single off the album, “You Still Get Me” has unmistakable commercial potential,” while the title track off the album, “Full Circle” is destined to be a true country classic”……….
Hayden will be touring much of 2009 promoting his new album. His fan base continues to grow with every performance. "My goal is to write songs people can relate to, dance, sing, cry, laugh and be inspired by", remarks Hayden. His largest satisfaction is interacting with the fans and seeing their response to his songs. Wes Hayden is a true country artist brought here to bless everyone who listens to his music.
Wes Hayden was born in Houston, Texas, he and his family spent seven years there before moving to Huntsville, Texas where he grew up. Hayden has now made Austin, Texas his home. As far back as Wes can remember music has been a big part of his life. His father listened to Motown and 70s rock and his mother listened to country and gospel. Hayden's experience with music has been diverse, and even to this day he likes all styles of music.
Hayden's grandfather, Louis Henderson, was a well-known country music singer/songwriter who wrote numerous songs for George Jones and played honky tonks with Jones as well as B.J. Thomas. Louis died at an early age, therefore Wes only knew him through his music. You might say that Wes has music in his blood.
When Wes was twelve his father bought him a set of drums. Wes taught himself how to play. He then learned the guitar at age fourteen and has never looked back. Wes has been singing and writing songs ever since. "I have always had encouragement from my family, friends and fans", states Hayden. "Some years ago I was listening to an old Lefty song that Haggard recorded, That's the Way Love Goes, and the song blew me away, even though I have heard it many times, but for some reason this time was different. It was like a light came on and I knew then that I wanted to be a true country singer and writer. By true, I mean country music with the traditional sound." Hayden's influences include Merle Haggard, George Jones, Keith Whitley, George Strait and Alan Jackson.
wes idk if i commented you yet or not, but i wanted to say i didnt like you on the batchorlette but i love your music & cant wait to buy your cd, but ive been reading on reality steve & many other sites & realized how abc set you up to look like the bad guy, & i think its wrong, you have me & my friends support!!! good luck!
Hey! Sorry I couldn't make it to the show in Abilene. I had to work! BOO! But I will definitely catch ya when you come to Lubbock. Keep up the good work. You are amazing! =)
Thanks for the add! I haven't been able to stop listening to your songs. Is your CD actually available now or is it just on itunes. Also you need to come to NC. Hope you're doing well :)
Hi,Wes, hope all is well, love your interview with RS, you did great, enjoy your great sense of humor, you are "mi numero uno" this season.wishing you the best in your music career. You Rock!! XOXO
I don't have your real email address to write to you, so hopefully it is the real you that gets this comment and can reply back to me. I just listened to your live interviews on 98.1 KVET and I BELIEVE EVERY WORD YOU SAID!! On "REALITY" T.V. The producers always have to boost their ratings and they do so by making someone out to be the "DOG" or the "BAD GUY" and create such drama. It's just a freaking shame that they did that to you! They really tried to make people hate you, which is so immoral and so wrong. ANyway, I could go on and on about this, but it's not even worth it. After this season, I won't even care to watch that show again. "REALITY T.V." should be REAL NOT FAKE and I hate that they tore you up. Thank you so much for doing those live interviews and setting the record straight for the whole world to hear and "LISTEN" to. You are a GREAT guy and an AWESOME musician and don't need a show like that to promote you! You are talented enough to do it without the BACHELORETTE! ANyway, sorry for the long comment, I just wanted to express my opinion and let you know that you are loved by your "TRUE" fans! I have your CD and I play it in my car everyday. I only wish the song you wrote for Jillian was on it cause I have it on my myspace and have to now get the single. Unless of course you would like to send it to me as a belated b-day gift. lol...
Take care & hope I hear back from you so I know you got this message yourself. ♥ Lisa From Las Vegas
sorry i couldn't make the show in Abilene last night. i had to work late.will try to make ur shows when u are in Lubbock and Midland. my work schedule is not made up for those months yet so maybe i can request this days off.
Have a super fun weekend and I hope you have fun singing tonight! Hope you get up north one day, what fun that will be to hear you sing live. Smile and have a blast! :)
You should most definitely come to Guitars and Cadillacs in D'Iberville, Mississippi. October 16th would be the best night cuz that's when I turn 21, and that's where I'll be...lol! It is a pretty cool country club that draws a nice crowd down here on the gulf coast....so keep us in mind
Hey Wes~ I listened to your interview today on www.realitysteve.com it sure was an eye-opener! I think it's terrible what The Bachelorette tried to do to you. I've watched it every season but after this I may stop. I think their viewing audience may be finally catching on now as to what the show is all about. Anyway good luck! Your music is great! And I'm SURE you wont have any problem finding Mrs.Right- your sure don't need a reality show to find her!
