So I've been walking a lot, which is good, because it keeps the depression at bay AND gets me in shape for the walk in August. I miss you, little buddy.

I know they've got to have some killer bars where you and John are now. Go have one on me! I miss you and love you very much! You have been my inspiration for some crazy things I never thought I could do. I ran a half-marathon in April and am running the Goofy challenge in January - a 1/2 marathon on Saturday and a full marathon on Sunday! Appropriate name huh? It's hard being in the courtroom next door, hearing a similar case...you were on my mind all day. I have very mixed emotions about this whole thing, but I'm gonna suck it up and be a good citizen. Ja-nay-nay	Dec 2 2008 1:10 AM When I told you I'd miss you, I wasn't kidding. On paper, 3 years seems like a long time, but in reality it still feels like that horrible day happened just yesterday. I'd still give anything to see you walk through the gym door, or to have one of our famous "great conversations." One thing I'll always remember is how you'd use song lyrics to communicate your thoughts and feelings. I think this one sums it up for me right now. Ja-nay-nay	Aug 6 2008 5:54 PM Registration forms and sponsor forms are now available at www. walkforwesley. com. The event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13, at the State Capitol in Sacramento. Registration begins at 9 a.m., and the walk goes from 10 a.m. to noon. You will need to register and pay ($10 includes t-shirt and goodie bag) prior to the walk. I will also have registration forms and sponsor sheets at the gym, and you may turn them in to me to be forwarded to the walk directors, if that is easier. If you have any questions, see me at the gym, or e-mail walkforwesley@comcast.net. Please repost/pass this info on.
