90.3fm WESS is a student-operated, non-commercial, FCC Licensed radio station located on the campus of East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania.
We have a diversified music format, which gives listeners and DJs more variety and freedom.
If music isn't your taste, we also offer talk shows, where listeners can call in and voice their opinion on topics being discussed on the show.
WESS also broadcasts play-by-play home ESU Warrior football and basketball games all year long courtesy of our Sports Director.
If that isn't enough, Vintage radio programs are on-air every morning from 9am-10am. This obviously is not your typical radio station!
Although the station is on-campus, we are operating at 1000 watts, sending our signal out over a 15-30 mile radius in the Poconos and parts of NW New Jersey. If you are not from the area, WESS broadcasts 24-7 at www.esu.edu/wess
The purpose of WESS is to provide a means of students training and experience in radio broadcasting, and provide ESU and the surrounding communities with alternative entertainment and educational programming.

Hey WESS, thanks for finding and requesting us. Here's hoping that you'll go one step further and *join* us on Saturday, March 28, when we make our long-awaited, hotly-anticipated, shamelessly overhyped NEPA debut at River Street Jazz Cafe. In celebration of Pearl Jam's reissue of Ten on the 24th, we'll be playing the classic album in its entirely, as well as other hits and rarities.
