Massimiliano and Claudio 1992
West&Coast
are Massimiliano Borrelli and Claudio Simoncini, two italian singers,
musicians and songwriters that have been playing for about 15 years in
live clubs, festivals... everywhere. The friendship between the two musicians
is born from the common love for the west coast music, in fact in the
year 1990 it begins their musical activity characterized above all from
the concerts in the country music festivals and in the motorcyclists meetings,
where Borrelli and Simoncini perform songs from America, Crosby Stills
Nash & Young, Simon & Garfunkel... and their own songs.
In the 2003 born the West&CoastBand, Massimiliano and Claudio can
realize the arrangements for their songs, the first original line-up was:
Massimiliano Borrelli (vocals, guitar), Claudio Simoncini (vocals, guitar),
Brendon Raschia (slide guitar), Gianfranco Francelli (bass), Fabio Beghella
(drums), Massimo Pignocchi (percussion).
In the 2006 Claudio and Massimiliano decide to start with a new musical
project, named "New Edge Project", realizing in the United States
a single CD entitled "No Ocean to Divide" produced by JR-Production
and with the participation of international musicians like Vinnie Colaiuta,
Tony Levin, Dean Parks and the same sound engineer James Raymond and Voytek Kochanek.
